Summer. 2009 promises to be an exciting year for Cricket with its profile being raised as high as it’s ever been. With England playing two Test Series against the West Indies, the 20/20 World Cup being staged in England and it all finishing off with a 5 Test Match Ashes series against Australia.

Morecambe Cricket Club is a thriving organisation situated in the heart of the community with in excess of 700 members. As stated we are a community club with our excellent facilities being used by other local organisations from the locality. We currently have 4 senior teams together with a thriving junior section with approx 70 participants. The 2009 season promises to be exciting with our first team playing the highest standard of club cricket in country, we are members of the Furness Building Society Northern Premier League as well as the National Knock Out, Lancashire Cup and 20/20 competitions, The latter offers the opportunity to progress to a Televised National Final played under floodlights. Morecambe’s plans for the season are well on the way with South African Test prospect Wayne Parnell already signed.

Playing organised sport at the highest amateur level always provides challenges with regard finance and to this end we as a club have a number of sponsorship opportunities. These include Ground advertising, Match Sponsorship, Ball Sponsorship and advertising in Match Day Programs. All of our sponsorship deals offer exceptional value and costs have no been increased for a number of years. In the case of match sponsorship we are offering more value for the 2009 season. I have detailed overleaf what we offer in terms of sponsorship together with prices for the 2009 season.

*20/20 matches are normally played on a Friday Evening therefore food would be served post match.
